Objectives

The project entitled Specialized vocational training for people with severe and profound intellectual disabilities (PSPID) aimed at developing work-related skills and competences of PSPID by providing them specialized working skills training, enabling their inclusion into the working process and developing a systematic approach to their working skills training in the participating countries Slovenia, Bulgaria and Portugal.

Results

The VOSIDIS partnership has produced:

  • A Report on needs analysis and state of the art in the field of vocational training for PSPID;
  • Training modules for trainers;
  • Establishment of the working environment for PSPID;
  • Vocational and motivation and socialization training modules for PSPID;
  • Pilot implementation of vocational training for PSPID;
  • Guide for vocational training of PSPID;
  • Final conference and professional consultation.
