Europe in Action 2013

30 May - 1 June 2013, Ljubljana, Slovenia, Cankarjev dom

As the global population is ageing, persons with intellectual disabilities and their families are ageing as well. The group of older persons with intellectual disabilities is thus continuously growing. How can we prevent double discrimination and further exclusion of this vulnerable group of elderly citizens? What policies need to be developed to improve their quality of life in the community?

The 2013 Europe in Action will be an outstanding opportunity for self-advocates, family members, professionals, and their organisations from all over Europe and beyond to exchange ideas and good practices on the issues of ageing and intellectual disability at European level with a wide range of stakeholders.
